Buying your home


Purchasing a new home is one of the most important decisions that you make during your lifetime, and it can be stressful. Buying a property from Grange Developments ensures that you are in experienced local hands and you can expect to receive a comfortable, practically designed and energy efficient home


We are committed to providing you with a buying process that is as smooth, informative and trouble free as possible

Step one:


Complete our homebuyer questionnaire confirming your position

Step two:


Pay a small non-refundable/non-transferrable fee to reserve your chosen home at a fixed price, and we will confirm the agreement via email and letter

Step three:

Legal & Finance

We can put you in touch with solicitors and mortgage advisors who will be able to help the process of buying your home run more smoothly, especially if they are already familiar with our procedures

Step four:

Exchange of contracts

Before contracts are exchanged your solicitor will confirm they are happy with all the details of the purchase. 

At this point, they will then advise you to exchange contracts with us, so you’ll need to ensure you have a mortgage in place and pay your 10% deposit, minus the reservation fee. 
Once contracts are exchanged, the purchase becomes legally binding

Step five:

Notice to complete

Once your new home has been completed, we will then serve notice to complete on the purchase

Step six:

Legal completion & handover

Legal completion and handover – once your purchase has passed through the Royal Court, you will receive the keys to your new home and a home handover package
